Texnere Americas Inc in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Battery Thermal Engineer to join the Battery Modeling team onsite. You will build state-of-the-art thermal and multi-physics models for cells, packs, and BMS subsystems using AEDT ICEPAK and other CFD tools.

Responsibilities include translating power maps into thermal outputs, running advanced CFD simulations, creating reusable workflows, and collaborating with CAE vendors.

Qualificações

• MS/PhD with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Mechanical engineering background with CFD and thermal modeling.
• AEDT (Ansys Electronics Desktop) with ICEPAK expert-level skills.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Valid US work visa, with no export compliance restrictions.

Responsabilidades

• Generate models to convert power maps into thermal outputs.
• Perform advanced thermal/CFD simulations to evaluate boundaries at cell, pack, and BMS levels.
• Use AEDT/ICEPAK and other solvers to generate simulation models and results.
• Develop optimized workflows and reusable templates for recurring thermal simulations.
• Develop and implement thermal modeling best practices.
• Collaborate with CAE vendors to drive functionality improvements.
• Explore new analysis types and solutions, including topological optimization.
• Extract Reduced Order Models from CFD simulations to accelerate studies.
