Job summary

Bryant & Stratton College in Orchard Park, NY is seeking an Online Student Services Manager to coach and guide staff, manage time and performance, and ensure positive student interactions and outcomes. As a SME, you will hire, train, and develop the team, oversee registration and reporting, and partner with admissions, IT, and other departments to support persistence to graduation.

This exempt role reports to the Dean of Student Services and requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 2-3 years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in academic, admissions, human services, or customer services field in distance learning or call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: supervise staff, coach, train, and manage scheduling and hours to meet goals.
• Goals and Objectives: monitor, report, and develop staff to exceed goals; forecast needs and improve retention and engagement.
• Coaching of Students: advise and support approximately 25% of student caseload; manage registration and attendance.
• Registration: coordinate with Registrar’s Office on scheduling and enrollment for current and upcoming semesters; ensure accurate reports and metrics.
• Supervision: oversee administrative duties and ensure compliance with policies; manage data entry and reporting.
• Teamwork: collaborate with FA, CS, Admissions, IT and Instruction to address student needs.
