Job summary

Accel Schools is seeking a School Operations Manager to supervise the operations team across student records, testing, attendance, and facilities while collaborating with the Michigan Online School leadership to design and implement compliant procedures.

The role includes serving on the school leadership team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring records and processes comply with state laws and sponsor requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong spreadsheet skills with formulas.
• Experience in a school setting and compliance.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the local operations team members overseeing student records, testing, attendance, and office management.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, resolving escalated operational issues.
• Coordinate with the Accel team to align school procedures with organizational goals.
• Participate as a member of the school leadership team.
• Develop, document, and archive operational workflows and policies.
• Audit procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay up to date on education policies and state regulations.
• Manage all student information per state and federal law.
• Coordinate communications with external vendors as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
