Responsibilities
  • Respond to new home sales phone calls, emails, web inquiries, and chat inquiries promptly.
  • Direct pre-qualified leads to the appropriate DSA (Designated Selling Area) for the Meritage Homes Division in Houston, TX.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and local market expert for all new real estate agent leads and act as a liaison between buyers and onsite sales associates.
  • Build rapport with prospective buyers, answer questions, highlight features, and guide them through the discovery process.
  • Use lead management software (CRM) to nurture leads and maintain engagement.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with tours and marketing efforts.
  • Maintain extensive product and community knowledge and stay updated on market trends and regulations.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience and follow workflow processes for each lead.
  • Conduct outbound campaigns to inform customers and realtors of events and new offerings.
Qualifications

Education: Minimum High School diploma; some college or Bachelor’s preferred.

Experience: Prior internet sales, marketing, outside sales, or lead generation experience preferred. Real estate license required if mandated by state.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce preferred, ability to handle web-based tasks.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills; professional demeanor; team player.

Additional Requirements
  • Travel to communities or offices as needed.
  • Work from home with dedicated desk space and high-speed internet.
  • Work hours typically 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with potential weekend work and schedule adjustments.
