Job summary

ECPI University is seeking a Physics faculty member for a remote position. You will deliver practical, hands-on instruction through the Canvas LMS in an engaging online environment, supporting students during evenings and weekends to fit their schedules.

A Master’s degree in physics (or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours) and 3–5 years of industry experience are required; 2 years online teaching or curriculum development is preferred.

We are seeking Physics professionals to join our faculty team. As a faculty member, you’ll provide practical hands‑on instruction through the Canvas LMS in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends to support students.

Education:

• Master’s degree in physics or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.

Experience:

• 3-5 years industry experience required
• 10-15 years career industry experience preferred.
• Industry experience must be within the last 5 years.
• 2 years online teaching/curriculum experience, and strong online webinar presentation skills a plus.
• Canvas LMS experience preferred.

• Able to work in a 5‑week course accelerated environment
