Job summary
Unitek Learning seeks an Adjunct Faculty to deliver online instruction for RN-BSN/MSN programs across its colleges. This role requires living outside California and involves facilitating online courses, maintaining LMS-based content, and supporting student success in a multi-college environment.
Responsibilities include delivering asynchronous and synchronous sessions, updating syllabi, and ensuring alignment with program outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in states where MSN programs operate.
- Minimum 3 years direct patient care as an RN.
- Minimum 1 year online nursing education experience using an LMS.
- Strong mentoring and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of distance education techniques and delivering online instruction.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Instruct online courses using existing curriculum.
- Deliver weekly recorded synchronous sessions (Zoom/MS Teams/WebEx).
- Maintain attendance, grades, and student records.
- Schedule weekly office hours for students.
- Review and revise syllabi and instructional guidelines.
- Assist with program assessment and accreditation reporting.
- Serve as SME for university and accreditation requirements.
