Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking an Online General Education Instructor to deliver courses in ASVN, BSN, and RN-to-BSN programs. You will develop coursework, utilize an LMS for delivery, and maintain accurate student records while engaging with a multicultural student body.

The role emphasizes online instruction, scholarly development, and ongoing professional growth through CE hours, with full-time remote work and opportunities for career advancement within Unitek’s nursing and healthcare education

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Experience mentoring students and strong communication skills (oral & written).
• Previous online teaching experience using an LMS.
• Knowledge of education theory and current teaching practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Instruct general education courses (ASVN, BSN, RN-to-BSN).
• Develop coursework and instructional content for assigned classes.
• Review and revise syllabi and guidelines to improve instruction quality.
• Regularly evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain student records and assist with data collection.
• Utilize LMS to deliver course content and stay current with updates.
• Provide office hours and maintain open communication with students.
• Engage in professional development and CE to renew licensure as applicable.
• Participate in online faculty meetings and contribute to program planning.
