Job summary

Nourishing Hope is seeking a Manager of Online Market in Chicago to oversee daily food distribution programming, staff supervision, and neighbor engagement. You will manage operations, data reporting, and food safety while upholding our core values.

This onsite role requires coordinating across locations with occasional travel; the schedule is Tue–Sat, 9:00a–5:00p, with up to two remote days as needed. Leadership and nonprofit background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years in social services, customer service, or grocery/retail.
• 2+ years supervising and coaching a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a van.
• Strong tech skills: MS Office, Google Suite, Salesforce CRM.
• Understanding of food security and barriers to access.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to SOPs for food distribution, safety, and sanitation.
• Act as manager on duty and primary contact for site stakeholders.
• Supervise staff, coach teams, and drive quality improvements.
• Manage inventory and partner relations with external orgs.
• Participate in Program Leadership Team to align priorities.
