Job summary

Nourishing Hope in Chicago is seeking a Home Delivery Program Coordinator to support in-person markets, home delivery, and online markets. You will engage neighbors and volunteers, handle operations and logistics, track data, and ensure food safety and dignity across programs.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing on-duty coverage, data entry, reporting, and collaborating with partners. This is a fully onsite, community-focused role at our Ravenswood hub.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
• 2-5 years in social services, food service, or related environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a van.
• Strong tech skills with MS Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce CRM.
• Belief in food security and understanding of related barriers.

Responsibilities

• Support SOP execution for food distribution to ensure quality, safety and sanitation.
• Serve as frontline contact for neighbors; provide guidance and set expectations.
• Train and supervise volunteers and staff; act as manager on duty when needed.
• Enter and maintain data, produce reports, track KPIs with systems.
• Support inventory and partner relationships with external agencies.
