Nourishing Hope in Chicago is seeking a Manager of Volunteer Engagement to design, plan, and direct a comprehensive volunteer program, recruit and train volunteers, and collaborate with staff to magnify impact. Based at our headquarters and across all sites, the role requires a bachelor's degree, 2+ years of leading volunteer programs, and strong project management, communication, and Salesforce proficiency.

The position offers full-time hours, benefits, and a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a human services field.
• Two years' experience overseeing volunteer programs with 100+ volunteers annually.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proactive problem solver with strong teamwork and communication.
• Proficient with MS Office; Salesforce knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow and enhance the volunteer program.
• Create a sense of community for volunteers across sites and shifts.
• Supervise Volunteer Engagement Coordinators across locations.
• Manage volunteer issues, coach staff, and ensure a positive environment.
• Maintain volunteer database and generate Salesforce reports.
