Ivy Tech Community College seeks an Online Adjunct Faculty member to deliver online courses in an 8-week format. You will create a dynamic online learning environment, use technology to enhance instruction, and assess student achievement within FERPA and college policies.

Minimum qualifications include unofficial transcripts, a JD, and either professional licensure or two years of related experience; prior online teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Unofficial transcripts required as part of the application process.
• Official transcripts required upon hiring.
• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction.
• A qualified faculty member in Legal Studies possesses an earned Juris Doctor degree from a regionally accredited institution and have one of the following: professional licensure in the field; or two years of directly related work experience.

Aufgaben

• Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Make optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Supplement and alter lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engage with students proactively and regularly to impact learning and provide positive IvyTech experience.
• Demonstrate evidence of developing and implementing teaching strategies for online students.
