Qualifications

• Unofficial transcripts required as part of the application process.
• Official transcripts required upon hiring.
• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1.
• A qualified Legal Studies faculty member possesses a Juris Doctor degree from a regionally accredited institution and one of: professional licensure or two years of directly related work experience.
• Preferred qualification: Previous online teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Utilize available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Modify lesson plans, assignments and materials as appropriate; maintain accurate records.
• Actively engage with students to support learning and positive experience.
• Develop and implement online teaching strategies to engage students.
• Interact with students and colleagues professionally and in line with college policies.
• Maintain a safe, quality online educational environment.
• Support a respectful, inclusive team culture.
