Job summary

AASLH invites an experienced instructor to lead the Project Management for History Professionals course remotely. This contract role requires facilitating at least two online sessions per year and guiding a self-paced module with support from the Professional Development team.

Ideal candidates have deep project management experience in history organizations, plus teaching or curriculum design skills for online delivery. Live weekly sessions and optional group or one-on-one support are included.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in project management, especially in history organizations or non-profits.
• Teaching or curriculum design experience, online or in-person.
• Experience using Zoom, including breakout rooms and whiteboards, for online instruction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate at least two virtual sessions per year.
• Administer a self-paced course with support from the Professional Development department.
• Contribute to curriculum development and provide technical support as needed.
