Job summary

AASLH is seeking an instructor to facilitate the Project Management course entirely online. The role involves delivering at least two virtual sessions per year and guiding a live weekly session with the instructor and students, supported by AASLH’s Professional Development department.

This contract position covers a 1-year renewable term with course materials, readings, and assessments, designed for staff across history organizations to gain project management skills and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with history organizations of varying sizes.
• Extensive project management experience.
• Teaching or curriculum design experience, online or in-person.
• Experience using Zoom, including its breakout rooms and other features.

Responsibilities

• Instruct at least two virtual sessions per year for the Project Management course.
• Administer a self-paced course with readings, quizzes, and discussions.
• Provide technical support and curriculum guidance with the Professional Development department.
