Stride K12's Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA) is seeking a full-time online teacher. You will deliver course content, provide instruction, and support students using the Stride K12 LMS. A Virginia Special Education Teaching Certificate and active state license are required; occasional travel for events is expected.

The role is primarily remote with typical 9-5 hours, and a base salary of $50,000 plus eligibility for a performance bonus. Reasonable accommodations may be made as needed.

Formación

• Must hold a Virginia Special Education Teaching Certificate and active state teaching license.
• Experience delivering instruction in online or virtual environments.
• Ability to work with data and use it to guide instruction.
• Willingness to travel for testing and events (~20% time).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver online course content and provide instruction via LMS.
• Maintain grade book and monitor student progress.
• Support learning coaches/parents with curricular issues.
• Travel for face-to-face professional development and tests about 20% of the time.
