Job summary

ShopRite of New London is seeking Online Shopping Clerks to take Customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, communicate issues, bag orders, and bill them. You will transport the completed totes, acknowledge customer needs, and ensure accurate payment handling at pickup or delivery.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong English skills, basic math, physical stamina, and a cooperative team mindset. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Selecting: Accurately identify products from various departments and prepare items for Customer orders.
• Consolidating: Pack and organize Customer orders for pickup or delivery with attention to temperature control when needed.
• Exporting: Process payments (cash, credit, checks, EBT, etc.) and handle proper change and receipts.
