Job summary

ShopRite of Millville is seeking an Online Shopping Clerk to take customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, bag and pack orders, and coordinate pickup or delivery. You will communicate issues to customers and handle payments at the point of pickup, while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.

Successful candidates will have strong English reading/writing skills, basic math ability, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and processed foods with no allergies.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Select products and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery.
• Consolidate items into properly organized totes for order fulfillment.
• Process payments and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
