Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and gather products for customers' online orders, ensuring freshness and quality. You will process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars when they arrive for pickup.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work without supervision in a fast-paced store environment. You will adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines while delivering a positive customer

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Experience as a personal shopper or in a warehouse/stocking environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for on-line orders with attention to freshness.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to customers' cars.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed expectations for ease of shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Read and follow directions in notes and ensure order accuracy.
• Operate POS system to process orders.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Maintain organization of staging areas and equipment.
