Job summary

Kroger is seeking an In-Store Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and assemble customer orders, ensuring freshness and quality. You will process coupons, payments, and help load orders into customers' cars at pickup, while delivering excellent customer service that encourages return visits.

You will follow bagging standards, communicate substitutions when needed, and help maintain clean, organized staging areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' on-line orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for on-line orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to customers' cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pick-up.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow policies to determine substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
