Job summary

Kroger in Westland, MI is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and gather items for customers' online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality. You will assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.

You will provide excellent customer service, follow safety guidelines, and communicate substitutions clearly. Training is provided, and you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for on-line orders efficiently with attention to freshness.
• Assemble on-line orders and deliver/load orders to customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Follow POS procedures and substitutions policies.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
