Job summary

Kroger is seeking an In-Store Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk in Southlake, TX, to efficiently select and gather online orders with a focus on freshness and quality. You will load orders into customers’ cars and provide a positive shopping experience, while following bagging standards and POS procedures.

You will work with the E-Commerce team to handle substitutions, maintain staging areas, and keep shelves and temperature-controlled zones in optimal condition, ensuring accuracy and customer

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness.
• Initiate and complete selection for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping and cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Provide positive customer service to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS.
• Follow substitutions policy for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies and therm types to supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments.
