Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and assemble customers' on-line orders in-store. You will ensure freshness, handle substitutions, process payments, and load orders into customers' cars for pickup, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store standards.

The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer expectations and store guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' on-line orders.
• Assemble customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up time.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Follow directions and read notes to fulfill orders accurately.
• Ensure quality and freshness of items selected.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone, responding professionally.
• Retrieve each customer's order and load into cars.
