Kroger is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk in Kentucky. You will pick, assemble, and load customers’ online orders with emphasis on freshness and accuracy, while providing friendly service.

Responsibilities include processing coupons, handling payments, and communicating substitutions when needed to ensure a smooth pickup experience. Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, basic math skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for online orders with freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to customers' cars.
• Scan and bag orders following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders and store in optimal temperature zones.
• Follow directions in note section and ensure order accuracy.
• Provide positive service that encourages repeat online shopping.
• Process orders through POS and manage substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to e-Commerce supervisor and arrange repairs if needed.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and assist in training new team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards and work well in fast-paced environments.
