Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Minimum qualifications include:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired previous experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in a production or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier

Responsibilities include:

• Select and gather products for online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality
• Initiate and complete the order selection process
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars
• Scan and bag items following standards
• Communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers at pickup
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
• Follow all food safety, legal, and company policies
• Store products in appropriate temperature zones
• Follow instructions in order notes
• Ensure order accuracy and quality
• Use portable phones to communicate professionally with customers
• Retrieve and load customer orders into vehicles
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business
• Process orders through POS system
• Handle out-of-stock substitutions appropriately
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Adapt to new processes and assist in training new team members
