Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. In-Store Grocery Shoppers initiate and complete selection for online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes payments, and loads orders into customers' cars. They scan and bag items, follow bagging standards, and communicate substitutions or issues to customers during pick-up. They aim to meet or exceed customer expectations regarding shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
Adhering to all laws, safety procedures, and company policies, they receive orders, store products properly, and ensure quality and freshness. They communicate with customers via phone, respond professionally, and verify order accuracy before loading. They process orders through the POS system, handle out-of-stock substitutions per policy, and maintain organization and cleanliness in staging areas.
Additional responsibilities include reporting discrepancies, inspecting equipment, performing opening and closing procedures, training new team members, and maintaining productivity standards. The role requires the ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts calmly, act with integrity, follow directions, and support customers with special needs.
