Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, paying attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival for pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Initiate and complete selection of customers' online orders.
2. Assemble orders, process payments, and communicate substitutions or exceptions at pickup.
3. Follow all food safety procedures, legal requirements, and company policies.
4. Store products in appropriate temperature zones, ensuring quality and freshness.
5. Communicate professionally with customers via portable phones and respond promptly to calls.
6. Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' cars efficiently.
7. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat shopping.
8. Process orders through the POS system and handle out-of-stock substitutions appropriately.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
10. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
11. Assist in training new team members and perform opening/closing procedures.
12. Meet productivity standards and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
13. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
14. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
