Job summary

Cosmo in Memphis is seeking experienced tutors to provide personalized ESL instruction for students based in Asia. As a tutor, you'll have a flexible schedule and must commit to a minimum of 20 hours on a weekly basis. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 education.

The ideal candidate will foster a supportive learning environment while adapting to individual student needs and promoting engagement through enthusiasm and patience. Compensation starts at a base rate of $20 per hour plus additional incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
