Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks teachers for its online Indiana program. The teacher of record will deliver live lessons, monitor progress, and communicate with families to support student achievement and social-emotional growth. Travel for state testing and events is required several times per year.

Applicants must hold a current state teaching license, be familiar with state standards, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Online environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference rooted in instructional research-based practices.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback/grades daily.
• Collaborate with Principal to create Progress Reports of Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth.
