Job summary

Albright College invites applications for Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate English composition courses in a 7.5-week online format. Appointments may be made as Adjunct Faculty or Course Facilitators based on course needs and the instructional model.

We seek educators who can deliver engaging, asynchronous instruction, provide timely feedback, and foster an inclusive environment for adult learners, using a course blueprint model and experiential learning strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in English or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching online, accelerated, asynchronous formats.
• Familiarity with D2L Brightspace is preferred.
• Strong communication, feedback, and student engagement skills.
• Professional or clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate undergraduate online courses using a course blueprint model.
• Provide timely, substantive feedback on student work.
• Support critical thinking, applied learning, and professional skill development.
• Maintain an active instructional presence.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for adult learners.
