Job summary

Southeast Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for English for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time position involves teaching courses such as Composition I and II, along with Business Communications. The successful candidate will enhance student learning through various instructional strategies and maintain ongoing communication with students.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in English and demonstrate the ability to foster an inclusive environment. Experience in online teaching is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate credit in English.
• Experience teaching online and/or hybrid formats.
• Ability to develop various teaching strategies.

• Provide instruction in assigned subject areas.
• Prepare and administer evaluation instruments and maintain accurate records.
