The American College of Financial Services is seeking an Instructional Designer & Developer Consultant to design, develop, and update online courses and learning artifacts. You will lead instructional design projects from needs assessment to delivery, ensuring accessibility and alignment with ADDIE/SAM models, working with SMEs and the EDUCATE team.

Responsibilities include producing engaging content using eLearning tools (Captivate, Articulate, iSpring, Camtasia) and leveraging the D2L LMS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3-4 years progressive experience in Instructional Design.
• Master of Science in Instructional Design preferred.
• Working knowledge designing courses inside D2L Brightspace LMS.
• Experience with D2L Creator+ and D2L Lumi preferred.
• Familiarity with eLearning tools: Captivate, Articulate, iSpring, Camtasia.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and planning skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage time and resources for instructional design projects from needs assessment to completion.
• Design, develop, and implement engaging course content using LMS and authoring tools.
• Apply ADDIE or SAM models to develop learner-centered outlines and materials.
• Ensure all deliverables meet accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).
• Collaborate with academic experts, SMEs, and team members on learning components.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of newly created courses.
