Job summary

Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions in the Counseling and Educational Leadership department to support the 100% online Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Positions may be full-time for one semester, part-time for one semester, or part-time for an academic year depending on needs and enrollment.

The program prepares students to become license-eligible counselors.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching graduate-level courses, especially via distance education.
• Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision completed by start date.
• Master’s in counseling and LPC/LMHCP licensure required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction via asynchronous and synchronous modes.
• Hold office hours and engage with departmental faculty.
• Attend program/department meetings and participate in scholarly activities.
• Supervise students in field or internship experiences.
