Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions in the Department of Early Childhood Education. Openings vary by semester and campus, including full-time one semester, part-time one semester, or part-time academic year contracts.

Successful candidates must teach introductory and/or upper-level courses, may supervise student teachers, and will maintain office hours as required by the CBA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years PK-4 teaching experience.
• Master’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or related field.
• Ability to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses; supervise student teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and/or upper-level courses in early childhood education.
• Maintain office hours as specified by the CBA.
• Possibly supervise student teachers and/or pre-student teachers.
