Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to guide customers online, over the phone, and in person through the vehicle purchase journey. In a no-haggle environment, you will respond to leads, answer questions, and help move customers from digital contact to an in-store experience with exceptional service.

You’ll leverage strong communication and sales skills to negotiate terms, meet payment needs, and close deals while ensuring post-purchase satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers from inquiry to in-store experience.
• Respond to online, phone and in-store leads promptly.
• Explain payment options and help close deals.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Transition customers to Service department after purchase.
