Job summary

Connections Education LLC is seeking Advisory Teachers to support students in Ohio through the Ohio Bridge Connections Academy program. Positions may be based in Columbus, Mason, OH, or a home office, with instruction delivered via the Pearson Online Classroom.

You will provide synchronous instruction, intervention, and enrichment, using data to drive personalized plans, and collaborate with families and colleagues to ensure student progress across K-12 content.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio teaching credential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong technology proficiency with common software suites.
• Highly organized and punctual with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with diverse families and students.

Responsibilities

• Represent a commitment to equitable practice in all aspects of the job.
• Deliver synchronous instruction via Pearson Online Classroom and provide intervention.
• Give clear, constructive feedback and conduct progress conferences.
• Communicate with parents and students to develop Personal Learning Plans.
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor data and plan interventions.
• Occasionally travel for marketing and state testing events.
• Support remote learning and adapt to home-based assignments.
