Job summary

Ohio Bridge Connections Academy is seeking an Advisory Teacher to support and motivate online learners across Ohio. You will deliver synchronous instruction, provide interventions, and use data to tailor learning plans, while building strong relationships with students and families.

Work may be from home or our Columbus/Mason offices, with occasional travel for state testing and events. A valid Ohio teaching credential and strong tech skills are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio high school teaching credential.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events.
• Ability to work remotely if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support and motivate online students using Pearson Online Classroom.
• Deliver synchronous instruction and provide interventions.
• Create progress reports and conduct parent conferences.
• Collaborate with families and teachers to update learning plans.
• Maintain student records and attendance.
• Attend school events and field trips as required.
• Participate in professional development and state testing.
