Job summary

Hillsborough Community College seeks an Online Academic Advisor to deliver front-line student services and intake processing for online learners. Qualifications

• The position requires at least a Bachelor's Degree and two years of work experience.
• Advanced computer skills and ability to provide student support online.
• Experience in higher education and understanding of financial aid processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides online academic advising for online students via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
• Coordinates student outreach with Online Learning Retention Coordinators.
• Evaluates transcripts and conducts degree and graduation audits.
• Advices students on degrees offered and college policies; assists with admissions, registration and transfer requirements.
