Shawano County seeks an Ongoing Child Protective Services Case Manager to secure child safety through case management, investigations, safety planning, and resource coordination. You will manage assigned caseloads, interview families, prepare court paperwork, and maintain thorough records.

Responsibilities include requesting services, evaluating needs, explaining programs, and following up to ensure effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSW preferred; or Bachelor's Degree with 1–2 years related experience.
• Requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
• Experience in child protective services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept requests and referrals for services and determine needs through interviews and home visits.
• Interview clients, evaluate intake information and determine client needs.
• Explain scope of services and discuss client rights and responsibilities.
• Assist in planning services and maintain client contact; modify plans as necessary.
• Prepare studies and recommend appropriate course of action for families.
• Maintain accurate case records and reports.
