Job summary

Kids Club of Florida is seeking a passionate One Year Old Lead Teacher to join our Jacksonville, FL team. You will create a safe, stimulating environment and guide infants through early development milestones.

Ideal candidates hold a CDA credential or Early Childhood Education degree, have experience with infants or toddlers in licensed settings, and are CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain. A nurturing, communicative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDA credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience with infants or toddlers in licensed childcare.
• CPR and First Aid certifications current or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of Florida DCF childcare licensing regulations preferred.
• Strong communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for one-year-olds.
• Maintain a safe, clean, nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor and document each child's milestones and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents about daily activities and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for one-year-old children
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that supports early childhood development
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and growth
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Follow all state licensing regulations and childcare health and safety standards
• Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, and language-rich activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or degree in Early Childhood Education
• Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
• Knowledge of Florida DCF childcare licensing regulations preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable with a genuine love for early childhood education
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
