Virtua in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a part-time One-to-One Observer to provide continuous patient observation and support to the healthcare team. This on-site role emphasizes safe interaction, communication with patients and families, and collaboration with registered nurses to monitor patient status.

The observer will perform restraint care as needed, assist in team orientation, and handle any additional duties as assigned.

Qualificações

• Strong communication skills required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Summary

The purpose of the One to One Observer is to provide personal constant observation of a patient. He/She will also Communicate with and support healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s). They will also maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.

Position Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required

• Must have strong communication skills.

Required Education

• High School diploma or GED.

Training/Certifications/Licensure

• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $21.33

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
