Overview

The One to One Observer provides constant one-to-one observation of an assigned patient and supports the healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains high standards of professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Training/Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $21.33. The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
