Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks a One-to-One Aide to assist the Teacher in implementing IEP services for an identified student. The role supports a safe, structured learning environment and requires collaboration with the Treatment Team and school staff.

Responsibilities include supervising student behavior, providing individualized instruction under supervision, and assisting with progress documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience working with children and families, preferably in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning environment for students within the school policies.
• Supervise and manage student behavior in the classroom and school events.
• Provide consistent and reliable supportive presence in the classroom.
• Escort assigned students to all activities as indicated by the IEP.
• Under teacher direction, provide individualized instruction and support to assigned student or small group.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to promote progress for the student(s).
• Create an individualized learning environment and support student independence.
• Assist with documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavior data.
• May assist in transporting students to activities and community-based events.
• Participate as a team member and communicate information clearly both orally and in writing.
