Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services seeks a Behavioral Caregiver to support children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. Working with a BCBA, you’ll implement the care plan, track client progress, and assist families at home with daily routines and self-help activities.

Responsibilities include delivering one-to-one interventions, implementing treatment goals, aiding daily activities, providing personal care, and taking on additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience with individuals with disabilities, including challenging behaviors.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Child.
• Updated TB test; must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-to-one behavior intervention services to individual clients as instructed by Clinical Leadership and based on treatment plans.
• Implements the goals/objectives for an individual as defined in the treatment plan.
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, behavior, and crisis intervention.
• Assists client with personal care activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
