Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Sterling area Behavior Technician to work one on one with children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as similar developmental delays or behavioral health challenges. You will support social and communication skills and document progress.

Responsibilities include implementing BCBA-created plans and tracking milestones, with competitive pay and benefits. This is a patient-focused role in the Sterling area.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or 1 year related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
