Job summary

Plan A Health is seeking a Direct Support Provider in California to support children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role focuses on delivering one-to-one behavioral interventions and assisting with daily living activities in a supportive setting.

Ideal candidates will have a High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs, preferably in educational or healthcare environments. 18+ years old required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year working with individuals with special needs and challenging behaviors preferred.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related fields preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services for individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Support daily activities related to self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor skills, and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, and ambulation.
• Implement and track data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
