Job summary

KIPP NC is seeking EC Assistants to support Kindergarten–12th grade students in a high-performing charter school network in Durham and surrounding counties. The role focuses on assisting teachers, supporting students with daily activities, and maintaining a positive classroom culture.

Eligible candidates have an Associate's Degree or 60+ college credits, with preference for those pursuing a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 60+ college credits required.
• Working toward a Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Pass Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students individually or in groups.
• Maintain supportive relationships with students and families while following school policies.
• Assist with behavior management and classroom routines as directed by teachers and administration.
• Communicate with families and colleagues about student progress and needs.
• Support students with daily activities and health procedures as needed.
