Job summary

Bright Pathways is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers, Autism Classroom Teachers, Life Skills Teachers, Resource Teachers, Inclusion Teachers, Behavior Interventionists, and Special Education Paraprofessionals to join our growing team.

You will work one-on-one with a child, building a strong relationship while helping them develop communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living skills at home, school, or community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience as any of the listed Special Education roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to one child at a time in home, school, daycare, or community.
• Every session aligns to the child’s strengths, challenges and goals.
• Help a child communicate wants and needs more effectively.
• Teach social skills through games, play, and everyday interactions.
• Help children develop friendships, take turns, share, and participate with others.
• Support emotional regulation and strategies for handling frustration or changes in routine.
• Teach independence with daily activities and routines.
• Practice community skills like ordering food, grocery shopping, and recreation.
• Create engaging learning opportunities through play, crafts, books, and outdoor activities.
• Celebrate milestones like new words, new friends, or independent task completion.
