Job summary

Edgewood Elementary in Vancouver, WA seeks a Paraeducator for Learning Support 1:1 to support students in a 6.5-hour/day, 9-month schedule. This is a one-on-one position within a supportive educational team.

The role requires collaboration with certificated staff, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow individualized goals for student progress and behavior support plans as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with official transcripts or ETS ParaPro results.
• One of: Associate's degree/90 quarter credits or 60 semester credits or 72 quarter/48 semester credits.
• ParaPro test score of 461 or higher preferred; related experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Support one-on-one students under a certificated teacher's direction.
• Assist with classroom activities, data entry, and progress documentation.
• Lead small groups in reading, writing, and math as assigned.
• Communicate student progress and accommodations to the teacher.
