Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. Role offers full-time, part-time, and per diem positions with an hourly pay range of $21.50–$26.50.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, transportation, and executing person-centered plans while documenting activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Background checks and DDD screenings may apply
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation
• CPR/First Aid training provided if needed
• Experience with individuals with I/DD preferred

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized
• Provide safe transportation
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy
