Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking tutors to support Road to and Through College classrooms. Compensation is an hourly rate of $12.50 with a comprehensive benefits plan. Role focuses on targeted objectives, additional practice, guidance, and one-on-one attention for students.

Qualifications include 48+ college credits with GPA 2.5 or two years of full-time K-12 instructional experience. You will work 10–20 hours per week on-site in Edinburg, TX, contributing to a college-bound mindset and student

Qualifications

• Education: 48+ college credits with a 2.5 GPA or two years of full-time instructional experience in a K-12 setting may substitute the educational requirement.
• Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior with strong communication.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to support a classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring aligning to Road to and Through College objectives.
• Use technology as an educational tool to improve student achievement.
• Implement a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Foster a positive school culture and student sense of belonging.
• Collaborate with College counseling team and teachers on student progress.
• Commit to 10–20 hours on-site per week.
